The Training Program
The drill team training program is designed to introduce new recruits to the fundamentals of drilling, physical fitness, stamina, etiquette, etc. Our team is comprised of majority young ladies; therefore, strong emphasis is placed on “decorum.” Each participant is placed on a probationary period for six months allowing them the opportunity to embrace our style of drill and boost their confidence level. This also monitors new participants' academics, attendance, and performance ability. A participant’s early performance success depends on their comprehension and performance ability. The uniqueness of our program is the fact that it doesn’t require any special skills to join. All a participant must do is express their interest and exhibit a form of commitment, dedication, and determination. General knowledge of program expectations and rules and regulations are reviewed and discussed, and the training begins.
The program teaches Youth Leadership Education and Training, Discipline, Structure, Socialization, and Communication Skills, as well as overall “Life Skills,” which are needed to maintain a structured day. Each participant is required to wear prescribed training clothing, which are jogging pants and uniform T-shirts and/or promotional T-shirts that are provided by sponsors.
